Rambling Rose: Two Baltimore Community Organizations that Represent Giving Back

Hello everyone! “Baby its cold outside”! My goodness gracious, what a difference a month makes! It is cold as hell outside. What can I say— please buddle up with your scarf, long johns, gloves and hat and let’s party!

Sisters 4 Sisters Network, Inc, will honor “Community Stars Community Life Changers,” including: Maryland Senator Barbara Robinson; Emerick Peace; Jennifer Jones; Edgar Brookins; Nicole Parker; Delegate Darryl Barnes; Lucinda Cross; George Mitchell; Marsha Reeves-Jews; and Hattie Washington at their annual Community Stars Gala on Friday, November 17, 2017 at The Bay located at 2042 Knollview Avenue in Pasadena, Maryland.

Juli Wood Quintet will perform at the Caton Castle on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 6 p.m. to -10 p.m. Joining her to perform will be Tom Williams, Tim Murphy, Geoff Harper and Lenny Robinson.

Another Community Organization giving back is the Baltimore Kappa Silhouettes. The organization is hosting their Annual Scholarship Brunch at Forum Caterers on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
